There’s something so comforting about a warm, bubbling cobbler straight from the oven. Whether it's been a long homeschool day, I’ve been deep in a sourdough baking session, or we just need something sweet after dinner, this Dutch Oven Blackberry Cobbleris one of my go-to dessert recipes
For the topping in a separate bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, and ¼ cup cream.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and combine.
Pour topping over the berry mixture and bake with the lid off at 350°F for about 25 minutes until the berries are bubbling and the topping is golden brown. Let stand for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Notes
You may need additional baking time if you’re using frozen berries.
